The Indian Instititue of Technology (IIT) Guwahati on Monday released online the Answer Key and Question Papers of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2018 held in the month of February.

Candidates can challenge the Gate 2018 Answer Key in case of error from February 21 to February 23, the IIT Guwahati said.

How to download GATE 2018 Answer Key

  1. Click here to go to GATE website: "Gate Answer Key Download"
  2. Select the paper and then click on Question Paper and Answer Key to download
  3. Take a printout
  4. In case of error or mistake raise objection before February 23, 2018.

The GATE 2018 was held on February 3, February 4 and February 10, February 11, 2018. The exams was held in two sessions: Forenoon: 09:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and Afternoon: 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM.

GATE 2018 examinations for 23 papers was conducted across eight (8) sessions.

According to earlier reports, the GATE 2018 results will be announced on March 17, 2018. After the announcement of the result, candidates have to appear for the counseling process. The counseling process will be started in the month of April 2018.

Conducted by the Indian Institute of Science and the IIT, GATE scores are used for admission to MTech/PhD programmes in IITs, IISc and various other institutes. GATE is conducted in 23 disciplines of engineering and science subjects and identifies the candidate’s understanding of a subject and aptitude and eligibility for higher studies.

GATE scores are also used as a criterion for recruitment in government organisations such as cabinet secretariat, and national and state public sector undertakings in India.
